摘　　要：卢木斋为清末官员,在任时积极倡设图书馆,后来脱离官场开办实业,设立木斋教育基金,一生中六次创设图书馆,支持图书馆事业的发展。其中北平私立木斋图书馆是其以自己藏书及所刊图书为基础开办的,是民国时期著名的私立图书馆,其馆藏丰富、特色突出、理念先进、管理完善,其发展及运营对今天的私立图书馆事业发展具有重要的借鉴意义。Lu Muzhai was an official in the late Qing dynasty while he actively advocating the establishment of libraries. Later, he left the officialdom and started his own business. He set up Muzhai education fund and in his life he established six libraries to support the development of library cause. Among them, the Peiping Private Muzhai Library, a famous private library in the period of the Republic of China, was built based on his own collection of books and published books. Its rich collection, outstanding features, advanced concept, management improvement and its development and operation are of great referential significance to the development of private library in China today.
