摘　　要：英语写作是一项衡量学习者实际语言应用能力的实践活动,既涉及到英语语言知识,又涉及到英语文化,而且写作时文化障碍要比语言障碍更难跨越。因此,大学英语教师应在英语写作教学实践中融入英语写作文化,并将语言知识的输入和写作文化的教学有机结合,这样可以优化英语写作教学模式从而提高学生英语写作水平。English writing is the language practice that measures learners＇ English application ability.It involves bothEnglish language itself and English culture and it is much more difficult for learners to overcome the cultural barrierwhile writing.Therefore,college English teachers can integrate English writing culture into the teaching practice andcombine the input of language knowledge with the teaching of writing culture,so as to optimize the teaching mode ofEnglish writing and promote students＇ English writing proficiency.
