摘　　要：基于应用型人才培养要求,对机械设计基础课程在教学方法上进行了改进。实践表明:采用工程案例教学方法,使教学内容置身于实际工程背景之中,可以有效理解抽象的理论知识,提高工程认知能力,培养理论联系实际解决工程实际问题能力。Based on the requirements of training applied personnel,the author puts forward some improvements onteaching methods of the fundamentals of mechanical design.The practice shows that,the engineering case teachingmethod puts the teaching content in the actual engineering background,which is an effective way to understand theabstract theoretical knowledge and improve the cognitive ability of engineering and cultivatethe capability of connectingtheory with practice so as to solve engineering problems in practical.
