摘 要:本研究以中级英语水平学习者为受试,采用问卷调查和回溯相结合的方法,考察语篇阅读过程中主题熟悉度对中国英语学习者词汇推理加工过程的影响。研究结果表明,主题熟悉度高对受试成功推理词汇具有积极影响。受试阅读主题熟悉度存在显著差异的语篇使其词汇推理成功率存在显著差异。主题熟悉度促进读者成功推理词汇,受试阅读主题熟悉度较高语篇时,其词汇推理成功率显著高于其阅读主题熟悉度较低语篇时的词汇推理成功率。然而,在复杂的词汇推理过程中,主题熟悉度的作用较为有限,受到学习者语言水平、语篇难易度等其他读者因素和语篇因素的影响。The present study takes intermediate Chinese EFL learners as participants to examine the effects of topic familiarity of texts on lexieal inferencing process among Chinese EFL learners by using questionnaire survey and immediate retrospective data collection procedures. The analysis of the results indicated that topic familiarity had an impact on language learners' lexical inferencing process. There were significant differences in lexical inferencing success while participants read texts with significantly different topic familiarities. Topic familiarity enhanced lexical inferencing. Participants got higher lexical inferencing success rate in reading the text of higher topic familiarity than that of lower topic familiarity. In addition, the results showed that the role of topic familiarity was influenced by language proficiency, text difficulty and other reader and text factors in complex lexical inferencing processes.
