摘 要:跨文化教育作为一种新的教育理念,兴起于上世纪90年代,但跨文化教育实践由来已久。文章以宋氏三姐妹留美学习的跨文化教育成长之路为视角,阐述宋氏三姐妹在卫斯理安学院留学的经历,为成立孔子学院和促进中美教育与文化的对话提供启示,延续跨文化教育对话及实践的历史使命。Although the practice of intercultural education has existed for a long time, it did not come into prominence until the 1990s. Viewed in the light of the Soong Sisters' course of growth in their intercultural education while in the United States, the author intends to examine their experience of studying at Wesleyan College and their contributions to the practice of inter cultural education. The author also highlights their historical connection to the establishment of the Confucius Institute in Wes leyan College, which has assisted in promoting the dialogue between Chinese and American education and cultures.
