摘　　要：对西部地区植被破坏、水生态破坏、水土流失和土地荒漠化等主要的生态环境问题进行了详尽的分析 ,指出改善西部地区生态环境的关键在于搞好生态环境建设 。The main eco environmental problems appearing in the western areas are thoroughly analyzed,such as vegetation destruction,hydro ecological destruction,soil erosion and desertification.It is pointed out that the key to improving the eco environment lies in eco environment construction.Strategical thinking about eco environment construction of western areas in China is also put forward.
