摘　　要：对运用体育这一特殊形式和手段 ,培养人的道德品质具有的独特作用进行了阐述 ;就体育对促进人的智力发展、神经系统的影响和脑体结合的关系进行了分析 ;对体育自身所具备美的特征的追求 。The paper explains the unique functions of PE in the cultivation of individual's personality and morality. It analyzes the relationships and influences between the mental development, nerve system and the combination of mental and physical work. The paper also makes some tentative discussions on esthetic features of PE itself so as to help people raise their awareness of its esthetic value and their ability of appreciation of PE.
