摘　　要：随着人类活动的全球化 ,英语正在成为人数众多的非母语者在国际交往中的共同语 ,但英语在其发展过程中 ,逐步形成了许多区域性变体 ,给学习者带来了一些不便。本文试从语音、词汇。As human activities are becoming globalizing, English is becoming the common language for many people in their international contacts. But during the course of its development, many regional varieties have come into being, which is inconvenient for the learners. This paper is to deal with some differences between the two regional varieties——British English and American English,from sound, words, spelling and grammar.
