摘　　要：1.PlightIn 1996,Tangshan Chaoyang Chemical GeneralPlant successfully developed atransesterification process to produce dimethylcarbonate (DMC),helping to changeChina’s DMC industry.In the past,Chinaonly had small-scale DMC plants that usedthe phosgene process and had poor productquality and serious pollution.Sincethen,China’s capacity to make DMC hasgrown rapidly.By the end of 2009,Chinahad 12 major DMC producers,with a combinedcapacity of 267 000 t/a.
