摘　　要：杨树达初文研究的贡献主要有两个方面:一是考释出了一批初文并对前人时彦的初文研究成果进行了汇总,二是归纳出了文字初义不属初形属后起字现象和揭示了初文发展到纯形声字的"三步说"。Yang Shuda?s contribution to protoform characters study mainly includes two aspects: on the one hand,he hasdetermined a batch of protoform characters?and offered a summary of the achievement on protoform characters before him; on theother hand, he has put forth “Three- stage- theory of from protoform character to phonogram” and some important academic opinions,such as the primary meaning of a Chinese character is indicated by the form of the non-primary Chinese character rather than by theoriginal form.
