摘　　要：If latest data is correct, there are about 680,890 Wenzhou natives now living as immigrants in 131 countries and regions across the world. Altogether, overseas Wenzhou communities operate 44 Chinese media and 60 plus Chinese schools. Restaurants and other businesses set up and operated by overseas Wenzhou natives are numerous. The data may sound dry and boring, but what they are and what they do overseas are actually serving as a bridge between Wenzhou and the world.
