摘　　要：文化的传承与传播是外语教学的两大任务，语言与文化间的相互依存关系决定了语言教学中文化的重要地位。本文从语言与文化教学关系着手论述中国传统文化的重要性及其传承意义，分析、探讨高校外语教学中中国传统文化教学现状及主要原因，进一步提出在高校外语教学中融入中国传统文化的途径，希望对弘扬中国传统文化和提高学生的跨文化交际能力起到积极作用。The inheritance and dissemination of culture are two important tasks in foreign language teaching.Theinterdependence between language and culture determines the important place of culture in language teaching.The paper,discusses the importance and inheriting significance of traditional Chinese culture by the relationship between languageand culture teaching,and analyzes the current situation and the main reasons of traditional Chinese culture teaching inuniversity foreign language teaching in order to proposes means to combine the traditional Chinese culture into foreignlanguage teaching.It is hoped to play a positive role in carrying forward traditional Chinese culture and improving students’intercultural communicative competence.
