美国慕课评优原则分析

摘　　要：自2012年以来,全球引发了慕课建设热潮。为了表彰投身慕课运动、引领教育变革的优秀教师,美国两大慕课平台Coursera和ed X设立了杰出教师奖和杰出贡献奖,并于2016年全球伙伴会议上宣布了首批获奖教师名单。对两大平台年度奖项设置、评奖标准和候选人相关资料的分析,可以归纳出六条评优原则:获奖教师需要认同慕课价值观;获奖教师需提供高质量的教学体验;获奖教师应该对慕课教学非常投入;获奖教师对慕课教学发展做出突出贡献;获奖教师的慕课具有较大的影响面;获奖教师应为慕课发展的引领者,推动慕课的普及和发展。这些原则涉及教学理念、教学设计、教学投入、教学创新、教学影响面和教学领导力。这两大平台评优思路有三个角度,一是强调所设立的奖项与平台使命或愿景的一致性;二是要把慕课平台的有关学生数据作为评优的一个参考;三是获奖者要对慕课社区做出贡献。分析美国两大国际慕课平台的评优思路和原则,对于研究和开发中国的慕课评优标准具有借鉴意义。Since2012,more and more universities in the world have joined MOOC movement to offer freeonline courses.To celebrate MOOC instructors'innovations and contributions to their community,Courseraannounced the first-ever Outstanding Educator Awards and edX set up the Prize for Exceptional Contributions inOnline Teaching and Learning in2016.After comparing the criteria of the award and the prize with a deep analysisof winners'profiles and news reports,six principles was given for selecting the best MOOC instructors:havingdemonstrated a commitment to MOOC,having taught high-quality courses,continuing to inspire and encouragemassive learners,and engaging into teaching with innovation as a leader.These suggestions refer to the teachingphilosophy,instructional design,teaching engagement,instruction innovation,teaching influence and leadership.The award and the prize have three points in common:it should be according with the mission or vision of thecommunity,acknowledge student data as a reference and highly appreciate the instructors'contribution to thecommunity.To inquiry the reasonable ideas behind those criteria of the two famous MOOC platforms will help us toset up principles for selecting Chinese best MOOCs instructors.
