摘　　要：模因是一个文化信息单位,它对于文化各个方面的进化和发展都具有相当的指导意义。石油科技英语词汇是学习这门专业英语的基础,但由于其专业性强,日常使用频率低,一直以来,这类词汇的学习存在很大难度。本文对国内外模因的研究和石油科技英语词汇的研究进行综述,旨在开发模因论的应用价值的新视角,为这一理论在我国的研究推广做出贡献,并能在实践中真正意义上推动石油科技英语词汇学的发展。A meme is an element of cultural information,which is used to direct the evolvement and development of many culturalfields all the time.Petroleum engineering English vocabulary is one of the most significant constituents of petroleum engineering English.However,this kind of vocabulary is too professional and is used at relatively low frequency,so it’s difficult to get good effects in learning.This paper is a review of meme research at home and abroad,and the development of petroleum engineering English vocabulary,which aimsto find out a new prospective of meme research,contribute to the spreading of meme research,and play a great role in the developingpetroleum engineering English vocabulary.
