摘　　要：Oral English skill competition in Hunan is made up of two groups, the English major group and non-English major group. It is a branch of vocational students skill competition in Hunan, it can be seen as a window to present English teaching results, especially oral English teaching, at vocational colleges, it also provides necessary instruction to English teaching at vocational colleges. This paper tries to discuss the enlightenment of oral English skill competition to English teaching reform at vocational colleges from the aspect of talents cultivation and faculty construction.Oral English skill competition in Hunan is made up of two groups, the English major group and nonEnglish major group.
