摘　　要：凌叔华用英文写就的小说《古韵》来源于她的早年生活经历,它展现了中国特有的历史、文化及生活,也折射出了中国20世纪初由古典走向现代的历程。可以说,作家以个人经历、家族故事为基础为读者讲述了一个"中国故事",也为读者塑造出了特定的"中国形象"。由于创作中西方话语的介入、战乱中乡愁情怀的凸显以及作家现代性话语立场的影响,使得《古韵》中的"中国形象"呈现出复杂多样甚至矛盾的特征。对作品中这一现象的关注与研究,将有助于我们进一步了解中国双语作家的写作特征以及"中国形象"在文学中的建构与传播。The source of fiction“Ancient Melodies”written by LingSu-hua in English is from her life experience in the early stage.It reveals China’s peculiar history,culture and life and also reflects the process of moving towards modernity from the classical in China at initial20th century.It can be said that the author not only narrates a“Chinese story”for the readers based on her personal experience and family story but also shapes the peculiar“Chinese image”for the readers.Due to the intervention of Chinese and western utterances,role of nostalgia in the war and influence of author’s modern speaking position,“Chinese image”in“Ancient Rhyme”shows complicated and even contradictory characteristic.The focus and research on this phenomenon in the fiction will be helpful for us to further know about the writing characteristics of Chinese bilingual writers and building and dissemination of“Chinese image”in literature.
