摘 要:符号学是意义之学,而意义是意识与事物世界的关联。由此产生一系列的难解之谜:究竟是先有事物,然后用符号替代它,还是先有符号,意义是符号的创造物?这个问题至关重要,因为它关系到符号学研究的重点何在。文章提出符号必然先行,才迫使解释意义从不在场进入在场。也就是说,在符号出现的此刻,解释意义必定不在场。由此可以推论:意义世界实际上是一个有待于实现的世界,如果符号是此刻的存在,解释意义就必然是未来性的。过去属于组成前理解的经验,符号感知为此刻,而解释意义在未来,这就是意义世界的时间性存在方式。Semiotics is the study of meanings,which are relations between consciousness and the world of objects.Hence a series of puzzles:objects call for signs to stand for them,or signs create meanings?This question is of paramount importance as it decides the focus of semiotic studies.The paper proposes that signs must precede interpretive meanings which are not in existence when signs appear.The world of meaning is fundamentally something of becoming.If signs exist in the present,interpretive meanings belong to the future,or we may say that the past is for the experiential fore-understanding,the present is the moment for signs,whereas the interpretive meaning belong to the future,thus forming the existential scheme of time.
