摘 要:《论语》作为中国儒家文化的经典之作,是中国传统文化与哲学的典范,在跨文化交流中扮演着举足轻重的角色。本文通过统计《论语》英译本在Google Scholar数据库中的被引情况以及在美国亚马逊图书网上的销售情况与读者评论,分析影响其销量及传播的因素,为《论语》等中华传统典籍英译本成功融入欧美市场、取得更好的传播效果提供建议与参考。As a classic work of Chinese Confucianism,The Analects has been regarded as a canonical text that represents the essentials of Chinese traditional culture and philosophy,so it plays a decisive role in cross-cultural communication between the east and the west.Based on the statistic data from Google Scholar about the citation frequency of English versions of The Analects and the number of sales volume and readers’comments on these versions on Amazon,this article analyzes the factors that influence the sales and transmission of these texts in the west,so as to provide some conducive suggestions to the successful promotion and effective transmission of the English translations of ancient Chinese classics in the western world.
