摘　　要：[目的/意义]对比分析中外图书情报学期刊论文英语标题的结构特征,为国内研究人员撰写高质量英语标题提供参考。[方法/过程]以2000篇图书情报学学术论文英语标题为语料,自建两个语料库,开展定量研究。[结果/结论]研究发现,中国学者学术论文英语标题长度与母语学者学术论文标题长度基本一致,符合国际规范;国内学者偏爱"名词词组型标题",而国外学者喜好"复合型标题";"零冠词+单数名词"是中外学者最常用的标题形式,但中国学者在这一结构中极大地超用research,study和analysis这3个名词;中外学者都喜欢使用名词修饰核心名词,其次是形容词。在并排使用名词时,两个群体的差异不大,最大量达到六个名词并列,使用最多的结构是3个名词并列。[Purpose/Significance]A comparison was made of English titles'structure features of Chinese and international journal articles in library&information science with a view to enabling researchers to produce native-sounding English titles.[Method/Process]A quantitative analysis was conducted on the basis of two self-constructed corpora of 2000 research articles'English titles in the field of library and information science.[Result/Conclusion]The research found that the length of the research article titles by Chinese and native scholars is almost the same and meets the international standard;Chinese scholars have a preference for noun-phrase titles while native scholars use more complex ones;zero articles followed by singular noun are most frequently used by both Chinese and native scholars,but Chinese scholars overuse the nouns research,study and analysis at the initial of the titles;both Chinese and native scholars like to use more nouns as the pre-modifiers of head nouns while adjectives rank second;there is little difference between the two groups in piling nouns before the head noun,for they both use 5 nouns before the head noun and a cluster of three nouns are their favorite.
