摘　　要：在宗教信仰的世界里,宗教与爱情始终存在着千丝万缕的联系。《荆棘鸟》和《穆斯林的葬礼》是两部充满异域风情和不同民族风格的作品,二者都鲜明地折射出了宗教与爱情之间纷繁复杂的关系。通过深入探讨两部作品中存在的宗教与爱情,并就其关系进行对比分析,深刻剖析宗教对爱情的束缚和惩罚以及在宗教禁忌之下两部作品中主人公爱情悲剧产生的原因,充分说明宗教对人们爱情及生活产生的负面影响。In the world of religious beliefs,there are lots of complicated relationships between love and religion,which we can vividly find in The Thorn Birds and The Jade King:History of a Chinese Muslim Family.Both of these two novels are great masterpieces full of exotic and national styles.The purpose of this thesis is to thoroughly analyze and compare the relation between religion and love,and then profoundly dissect the bondage and punishment of religion for love as well as the causes of tragedies in these two works under the influence of religious taboos,aiming at illustrating the negative impact of religion on people’s love and life.
