非英语专业大学生在英语阅读中使用在线词典与纸质词典的对比研究

摘　　要：通过问卷和测试相结合的方式,以仰恩大学非英语专业学生为例,对比分析使用两种不同词典进行英语阅读继而产生的学习成绩差异。研究发现,学生使用在线词典的人数更多,满意度也更高。充分利用在线词典学习平台可有效提高阅读成绩。建议教师在英语教学中逐步推广,引导学生正确使用在线词典,以达到促进学生自主学习和提升教学质量的目的。The paper took the example of the YEU 's non-English majors and adopted the method of questionnaires & tests to compare the different English reading performances induced by using English online dictionaries and paper dictionaries. The study found that more students are using online dictionaries and the degree of satisfaction was also higher than that of paper dictionaries. Taking full advantage of online dictionaries can efficiently improve reading performance. Thus it is recommended that teachers encourage students to correctly use online dictionaries to promote students' autonomous study and improve the overall English teaching quality.
