摘  要:义利观是人们对于"义"与"利"的根本看法。孔子的义利观,主要是"义以为上""义以为质""君子喻于义,小人喻于利""以义谋利""见利思义""见得思义"等。但孔子并不完全否定人们对利的追求,特别是对民众利益的追求,即使对个人利益的追求也并非一概反对。这就显示了他的义利观的矛盾之处。这种义利观为荀子所继承与改造、开拓。荀子的义利观主要是"义利两有",打破孔子"义利两分"的成见,提出了"义与利者,人之两有也。虽尧舜不能去民之欲利","虽桀纣不能去民之好义"。荀子的义利观还有"以义制利"和"均遍而不偏"。孔子的"义以为上",以义谋利和荀子的"义利两有""以义制利"的思想,在当今仍未失去其理论价值。Concept of justice and profit reflects people’s view on“justice”and“profit”.Confucius’concept of justice and profit mainly contains+a gentleman works on a moral basis,,,“The gentleman knows what is right;the mean man knows what is profitable”,“making profits from justice”,and“remembering what is right at the sight of profit”.Neither public profits nor personal profits were totally denied by Confucius which reflects the paradox in his theory.Such view of justice and benefit is inherited and reformed by Xunzi.Xunzi’s concept of justice and profit mainly contains“having both justice and profit”,which broke Confucious’unfavorable opinion of“dichotomy of justice and profit”.“Making profits from justice”and“people in all times wants profits”are also Xunzi’s concept.Confucius’thought of“justice first”and“making profits from justice”,as well as Xunzi’s thought of“having both justice and profit”and“using justice to restrict profits”still have theoretical value in modern society.
