摘　　要：由于现代社会对视频监控的需要,视频监控系统成为现代安防中最重要的组成部分。它可以取代人进行监视,长时间保持高效的工作,有人所不能比拟的特点。笔者设计了一种基于ARM平台的视频监控系统,视频监控主要由摄像头、服务器、客户端组成,通过对图像的采集、编码、传输、显示等,完成视频监控。最后,调试结果表明该视频监控系统效果良好。Video surveillance system has become the most important component of modern security because of the needs of modern society for video surveillance.It can replace people for surveillance,long time to maintain efficient work.There are incomparable features.The author designed a video monitoring system based on ARM platform,which is mainly composed of camera,video monitoring server and client components,completes video surveillance through the image acquisition,encoding,transmission,display and so on.Finally,the debugging results show that the video surveillance system works well.
