E-commerce ecosystem is a complex business ecosystem, and the research of its stability is related to the stable and healthy development of e-commerce.In this paper, the e-commerce ecosystem stability is analyzed by using redundancy theory. The results indicate that improving the species redundancy and the valid redundancy of ecosystem structure is beneficial to raising the e-commerce ecosystem stability. The valid redundancy of ecosystem structure not only requires that more than two enterprises occupy the same niche, but also requires the ecosystem redundancy take on the minimum function that could ensure the effective working of the e-commerce ecosystem. The more the redundant nodes are,the more the combination possibilities are,the greater ecosystem redundancy is and the stronger the e-commerce ecosystem stability is.For parts that do not have valid redundancy, enterprises must improve their comprehensive ability and make full use of the relationship with other key enterprises to ensure their self-stability,and finally realize a healthy, sustainable and stable development of the e-commerce ecosystem.
