重译的再现伦理研究——以傅东华、李美华《飘》的两部汉译本为例

摘　　要：重译尤其是文学名著的重译是一种重要的翻译现象。对重译的研究也从文本对比分析发展到对重译背后的文化要素的探讨。翻译伦理研究经历了从对翻译行为尤其是译者行为应该如何的应然研究发展到对译者行为实际如何的实然研究。以《飘》在两个不同历史时期汉译本为蓝本探讨翻译伦理对重译的影响和制约。借用切斯特曼关于翻译伦理模式中的再现伦理分析译者秉承的伦理规范的差异在译本中的表现,以期为重译的多层面多角度的动态批评提供新的视角,同时也有利于翻译批评的客观公正性及重译的良性发展。Retranslation,especially retranslation of the masterpieces of literature has become a widespread practice.Relevant researches on retranslation has been developed from the comparison of translated versions to evaluating the cultural elements affecting retranslation.In translation studies,the study on translation ethics no longer merely focuses on prescriptive study but also on descriptive study.Taking two Chinese versions of Gone with the Wind as examples,namely Donghua’s version and Li Meihua’s version translated with a span of more than seventy years,this paper probes into the influences that ethics has on retranslation.With the representation ethics in Chesterman’s ethics modes,this paper analyzes the differences in the translators’ethics represented in the translated versions.Therefore,it is hoped that this paper can help to shed light on an objective and dynamic evaluation on the translated versions on multi-levels as well as a fair judgment on the retranslated versions.
