摘  要:文章基于社会网络的视角,以资源基础观和组织合法性理论为基础,探索了董事会连锁关系对于企业环境绩效的影响,并进一步考察了行业层面的竞争与公司层面的资源松弛性的调节效应。采用2008-2012年间A股上市的制造业企业样本数据进行回归分析,研究发现董事会的连锁关系及其异质性对于企业环境绩效的改善具有显著的正面作用,而且在竞争激烈的行业和资源松弛性水平较高的企业中,董事会连锁关系的作用更为显著。本研究阐述了企业社会网络关系对于环境管理的实践意义,对于企业环境治理具有重要的启示,并进一步揭示了社会网络关系不仅能够为企业带来外部资源,而且对企业行为具有约束和规范的作用。From the perspective of social networks,this study draws on the resource based view and organizational legitimacy theory to investigate the influence of board interlocks on corporate environmental performance and the moderating roles of industrial competition and corporate resource slack.Regression analyses are performed on the basis of the sample data of A-share listed manufacturing companies from 2008 to 2012,and it is found that board interlocks and the diversity of interlock ties are in a significant positive association with environmental performance.Besides,in a highly competitive industry or a firm with high level of slack resource,this relationship becomes stronger.This study shows the practical significance of corporate social networks for improving corporate environmental performance,which has important implications for corporate environmental management.Furthermore,this paper reveals that social networks ties not only bring about external resources but also pose a restricting effect on corporate activities.
