Objective To investigate the application value of HPV E6/E7 mRNA testing for cervical lesions. Methods 104 women with HR-HPV DNA-positive was enrolled and underwent HPV E6/E7 mRNA,colpocopy and biopsy of suspected cervical lesions.Cervical exfoliative cells were analyzed for HPV E6/E7 mRNA.The pathological diagnosis was as the gold standard to group and statistically analyze.30 patients were randomly selected. Each patient was tested for HPV E6/E7 mRNA by two specimens(cervical exfoliated cells and cervical paraffi n-embedded tissue specimens). Results The positive rate of HPV E6/E7 mRNA increased with the severity of cervical lesions. Both exfoliated cervical cells and cervical paraffi n embedded tissue specimens could be used to detect HPV E6/E7 mRNA,The positive rate of HPV E6/E7 mRNA is not statistically signifcant. Conclusion The positive rate of HPV E6/E7 mRNA is related with the severity of cervical lesions. Both cervical exfoliated cells and cervical paraffi n embedded tissue can be used as samples to detect HPV E6/E7 mRNA in cervical cancer screening.
