摘　　要：近代新疆社会的政治变革对南疆维吾尔族社会生活产生了深刻影响,教育事业尤其如此。作者分阶段对南疆小学教育的发展进行了概述,认为这一时期,南疆的小学教育在动荡中曲折前行,具有鲜明的民族性和地方性,对南疆维吾尔族社会发展产生了重要影响。Modern political reform of Xinjiang society had a deep influence on Uighur people s social life in the south of Xinjiang,especially on its education.The article reviews the development of primary school education in a few stages in the south of Xinjiang,holding that primary school education in this area went on in social instability,with obvious ethnicity and local features,having an important influence on local Uighur society.
