中美医学期刊英文摘要语篇对比分析

摘　　要：使用王兰英自建的中美医学期刊英文摘要语料库,从宏观结构和微观语言特征方面进行对比,找出中美学者在论文摘要撰写中的异同,从而发现国内医学期刊英文摘要写作中存在的问题。结果显示,中美医学期刊英文摘要在句长方面不存在明显差异,平均词长和标准类符/形符比差别明显;国内期刊的英文摘要用词相对单一,而国外期刊的摘要用词较为丰富和多变;高频词、主题词和名词化使用也有所不同。该结果对科技期刊英文摘要的撰写具有重要意义。Based on the corpus of Chinese and American Medical Research Paper abstracts built by Wang Lanying,this paper made some comparison from the aspects of macro structure and micro linguistic features,pointed out the similarities and differences in medical paper writing,and found out problems existing in abstract writing of domestic medical journals.The results showed that there was no obvious difference in the length of the sentence of the Chinese and American medical journals,and the average length and the standard type/toke ratio were significantly different.The abstract words of domestic journals are relatively unitary,while they are rich and changeable in foreign journals.High-frequency words,keywords and nominalization are also different.This result is of great significance to the writing of the English abstract of science and technology journals.
