摘　　要：虢国虽非诸侯之大国,但在周代国家政治生活中极为活跃和突出,除了虢国首封之君和文王同辈的原因,虢国家族所展现的特有的政治品质和文化精神,是虢国受到王室恩宠和器重的主要原因。作为王室之卿士,他们道德高尚,刚正不阿,恪尽职守,匡扶正义,保证了王室政治之清明。作为天子之封臣,他们崇武尚勇,为国干城,以身赴难,不惧外侮,捍卫了国家之安全。忠于职守和勇于担当是虢国家族政治品质和文化精神的核心内容。The State of Guo,which was very active and prominent in national political life in Zhou Dynasty,was favored and valued by the royal family not only because of its first prince who were the brothers of King Wen,but also because of its unique political quality and cultural spirit.As a member of the royal family,they ensured the purity of royal politics by their loyalty,noble morality,detest of evils,justice and uprightness.As the kings vassal,they were so brave that they sacrificed their lives to defend the safety of their country.Loyalty and responsibility were the core content of politics quality and cultural spirit of the Guo-family.
