摘　　要：开展通识教育在大学阶段是塑造学生基本综合素质的重要手段,对于培养共和国预备警官的公安院校而言更是具有重要意义。公安院校学生的特殊性质决定了在公安院校开展通识教育的重要性。文章旨在通过说明公安院校发展通识教育的必要性,梳理发展过程中遇到的问题和挑战,试图为公安院校及其他行业院校发展通识教育探究一定的发展路径。Carrying out general education in college is a very important mean to form the basic comprehensive quality of the students and is of significance to police colleges which cultivate probationary police officers.The particularity of students in police colleges decides the general education in police colleges is important.The paper tried to find out some developing way of general education for police colleges and other vocational colleges through explaining the necessity of carrying out general education and sorting out prob lems and challenges in the developing process.
