摘　　要：文章运用纽马克的文本类型理论,对纪实文学作品Hmong in America:Journey from a Secret War(1995)的汉译进行分析,提出以纽马克的文本类型翻译理论为指导,通过重组、改译、增译等具体的翻译技巧克服中英文在句法结构、语法规则、表达习惯及文化等方面存在的巨大差异,从而提高纪实文学汉译本的可接受度。Abstract The article uses Newmark's text type theory to analyze the Chinese translation of documentary literary works"Hmong in America:Journey from a Secret War"(1995),and proposes to use Newmark's translation theory of text type as a guide,through specific translation techniques such as reorganization,adaptation translation,and additional translation,to overcome the huge differences between Chinese and English in terms of syntactic structure,grammatical rules,expression habits and culture,thus improving the acceptability of documentary literature Chinese translation.
