近代上海圣约翰大学学校体育的历史价值与启示

摘　　要：运用文献资料法等,对上海圣约翰大学学校体育历史及其价值进行研究。主要结论:圣约翰大学学校体育作为近代大学的典范,在引进现代体育项目、体育竞技及体育育人成绩方面特别突出;其历史价值体现在促进了中国体育事业的发展、夯实了体育在人才培养中的地位、实现了学校体育普及与提高的有机结合、凸显了校长在学校体育工作的重要作用。圣约翰大学学校体育对深化学校体育课程改革的启示主要体现在四个方面,即体育重要地位、体育制度、校园体育文化以及校长的责任意识。This paper studies the history and values of physical education in Shanghai St.John's University with the method of literature reviews.The authors draw conclusions that as a model among modern universities in terms of physical education,Shanghai St.John's University has achieved success on the aspects of the introduction of modern sports,athletes and physical education.The historical values are reflected in promoting the development of sports in China,consolidating the status of sports in personnel training,getting the combination on school sports popularization and improvement,and highlighting the importance of headmasters'work in school physical education.The enlightenment of St.John's University physical education on deepening the reform of school physical education is mainly reflected in four aspects,namely,the important status of sports,sports system,campus sports culture and the responsibilities from headmasters.
