Objective: To explore clinical effects of cognitive behavioral therapy combined with Venlafaxine in treatment of anxiety. Methods: 62 patients with anxiety were selected and randomly divided into two groups according to the random number table method. Each group consisted of 31 patients. The observation group was treated with cognitive behavioral therapy combined with Venlafaxine, while the control group was treated with simple Venlafaxine. 3 months after the treatment, the anxiety status(HAMA scale), functional status(GAF scale), and the effects were compared between the two groups. Results: After the treatment, the HAMA score of the observation group was signifi cantly lower than that of the control group, the GAF score was signifi cantly higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically signifi cant(P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was 83.87%, which was signifi cantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically signifi cant(P<0.05). Conclusions: Cognitive behavioral therapy combined with Venlafaxine is superior to Venlafaxine in the treatment of anxiety, which can signifi cantly improve the patients’ conditions.
