摘　　要：莎士比亚长诗《维纳斯与阿多尼斯》含有动物隐喻且较少使用词汇衔接,而衔接是语言表层结构的连贯,深层结构的连贯才是语篇连贯的决定因素。运用隐喻的跨域映射,结合人类认知,探析长诗中动物隐喻系统性与连贯性的构建方式,论证隐喻系统性与连贯性是语篇连贯构建的基础,认为长诗的三条主线"逃避爱""追逐爱""破坏爱"所体现的"劝生育""追求爱"主题与十四行诗一致。Shakespeare's long poem“Venus and Adonis”contains abundant animal conceptual metaphors.Lexical cohesion establishes the cohesion of the surface structure of language,and the cohesion of the deep structure is the determiner of discourse cohesion.By analyzing“Venus and Adonis”with the working mechanism of cross-domain mapping and human's cognition,this paper demonstrates metaphors systematicity and cohesion is the basis of discourse cohesion and finds out that the theme of the long poem,demonstrated by the three main lines:“escape from love”“chase after love”“destroy love”,is consistent with sonnet's gist of“persuade to fertility”and“pursue love”.
