摘 要:改革开放首先是思想观念的变革,具体体现是“解放思想,实事求是”。改革开放40年来,外国教育史学界从思想上得到了解放,以马克思主义的思想观点和方法论为指导,实事求是地进行本学科的研究和教学,取得了很大的发展。历史是有联系的,过去、现在和未来都是连在一起的。从外国教育史在“文化大革命”前起起落落、在改革开放后快速发展的历史图景和历史认识,学科体系确立、教材建设、专业人才培养、科学研究、原著和国外研究成果的翻译和出版等方面,可以窥见改革开放40年我国外国教育史的发展进程和取得的丰硕成果。当然,我国的外国教育史在发展中还存在着一些问题和局限性,需要学者们共同解决。There is a connection between the past, present and future in the development of history. Before the “Great Cultural Revolution”,modest progress was made for the teaching and scientific research on foreign educational history in China with ups and downs. After the reform and opening-up, guided by the line of “emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts”, China's professionals and academics of the history of foreign education have been emancipated ideologically. They achieved a correct understanding and criticized the simplified and formulaic tendency in the realm of Marxism occurred in former Soviet Union and studied and discussed practically the academic issues of this discipline at the early important annual national conferences. The discipline system of foreign educational history was established since then. It was clearly recognized that foreign educational history is studying foreign educational theory and practice, with functions including compiling teaching materials, cultivating students, leading teachers’ professional development as well as providing reference and experience for the education practice and theory construction in China. Chinese professionals and academics are required to break through the Euro-centered research tradition which focuses on education development in Europe and America. The contribution made by each country and nation to the development of human culture and education should be studied and valued practically. Since the reform and opening-up 40 years ago,guided by the Marxist ideology and methodology,the scientific research and teaching of foreign educational history has made rapid development and great achievement. First, a notable success has been achieved in the development of teaching material construction from nothing to a wide variety of textbooks complied by Chinese academics, with introduction to educational history as one of the most valued field. Second, a large number of professionals in this field with master's and doctor’s degrees have been trained
