摘 要:政治建议言语行为是塑造国家形象、维护国际关系以及促进世界和谐的重要语言手段。本研究以中美外交部发言人的真实语料为基础,从言语行为的言外之力指示手段及实现策略两个方面探讨中美政治建议言语行为的异同及产生该异同的动因及功能。研究结果表明,中美政治建议言语行为在其言外之力指示手段方面呈现趋同特征,即双方均主要通过规约和非规约言外之力指示手段实现建议行为;在政治建议策略方面,中美双方在视角、直接程度和礼貌等维度的诸多策略使用上均存在显著差异。此外,本文进一步揭示其深层次语用理据以及维护人际和谐的语用取向。The speech act of advising in political discourse is an important linguistic device to shape national image, maintain international relations and promote world harmony. Based on the authentic data of the Chinese and American foreign ministry spokesmen, the current study explores the similarities and differences of the Chinese and American political speech acts of advising in terms of the illocutionary force indicating devices(IFIDs) and strategies to probe into the factors and functions of the above discrepancies. The study finds that the illocutionary force indicating devices of the Chinese and American political advice are similar in that the spokespersons of both countries are inclined to use conventional and non-conventional devices to give advice. In terms of strategies, there are significant differences between Chinese and American political speech acts of advising in perspectives, directness and politeness. The study illustrates the pragmatic causes and interpersonal rapport pragmatic orientation of the above discrepancies.
