摘  要:英国作家毛姆和中国作家郁达夫在1920年代分别创作了游历中国长江流域的游记:《在中国屏风上》和《达夫游记》。两本游记都描写了作家视域中的各种中国乡村城市民俗风情。毛姆以一个来自于西方现代文明的局外人视角,从时间和空间发掘现代中国社会民俗文化的新认识;郁达夫则以局内人的视角,在游记中浓墨重彩地书写了新旧交替激烈振荡中的中国民俗文化。中西两位作家笔下更多倾注了对中国文化的审美情感,他们的游记成为体现中国民俗"内价值"和"外价值"的优秀文学文本。In the 1920s, British writer Maugham and Chinese writer Yu dafu respectively created their very representative travelogue to record their traveling along the Yangtze river in China: On the Chinese Screen and Dafu’s Travelogue. Both books describe in detail the various folk customs in villages and cities from the author’s perspective. Maugham, from an outsider perspective of modern western civilization,explores a new understanding of the modern Chinese folk culture in time and space. Yu Dafu who is from the insider’s perspective has written Chinese folk culture in the condition of China’s social transition from the old to the new. Both Maugham and Yu Dafu put more aesthetic feelings on Chinese culture in their writing, and their travel notes have become excellent literary texts reflecting the "internal value" and "external value" of Chinese folk customs.
