摘　　要：通过对陕西咸阳、西安两地传统木轮大车制作技艺的实地调查,较为翔实、全面地整理了从原料、工具设备、工艺流程到产品的制造过程,并尝试就一些关键技术进行了现代科技的分析与解释;结合口述史资料和文献资料,论述了传统木轮大车在20世纪被改造、被取代并逐渐走向消亡的历程。Based on an investigation of the traditional handcrafting of carts with double wooden wheels as observed in Xianyang and Xi’an,Shaanxi,this study describe the entire process of manufacturing,carts in a detailed and complete manner.In light of the modern technology,the study provides an analysis and interpretations of some major technical measures to problems associated with handcrafting carts.Based on interviews conducted with craftsmen and previous literature on the history of handcrafted carts,the study clarifies that history in terms of modifications to and the gradual replacement and ultimate disappearance of handcrafted carts.
