摘  要:在《加西亚家的女孩是如何失去口音的》中,阿尔瓦雷斯在调解个人和民族认同关系时,使民族身份认同陷入了美国主流文化和母国文化的争论中。小说揭示了加西亚女孩在移民国的失落和创伤,这些不和谐境况既受到双重文化和双语经历的挑战,也受到沉默﹑逃避的历史语境的困扰。言说焦虑作为主线贯穿全文,对加西亚女孩在母国与客国的挣扎和旅行从而最终建立其跨国民族身份至关重要。In How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents , the mediation of the relationship between the individual identity and the national one by Alvarez's characters has caused national identity to fall into the debate between American mainstream culture and the motherland's culture, The novel reveals the disharmony and trauma caused by migration to the host country, which are not only challenged by both bicultural and bilingual experiences, but also bothered by the silent, escaping historical context. Linguistic anxiety as the main thread runs through the whole text, and it is essential for Garcia girls to ultimately establish their transnational identity after struggling and traveling both in the United States and their home country.
