Vocational Tracking and Its Relationship With System Connectivity in the Context of Lifelong Learning (LLL)

摘  要:There have been many research projects in finding solutions for an effective vocational tracking in Vietnam education. Many comprehensive, system-wide, and multi-disciplinary solutions have been proposed. However, until now, there has been almost no significant change in the tracking after middle and high school. This article assumes that there is a bottleneck that needs to be identified and analyzed thoroughly. From international research and experience, the bottleneck is that tracking has not been yet closely linked to system connectivity and both have not been embedded in the new context of lifelong learning (LLL) development. With this view, the paper proposed priority solutions to promote the implementation of the National Qualifications Framework and soon realize the policy of moving Vietnam education system to an open education system.
