摘 要:李敏生《汉字哲学初探》在阐发汉字哲学本性的时候,不恰当地将汉字哲学规定为寻求汉字的本质及发展规律,从而混淆了汉字哲学与文字学等经验科学。这源自于李敏生并未就哲学本性做一般考察,以致误以为汉字哲学应当具有特定的研究对象或从事某种规律研究。细致辨析哲学本性之后会发现,哲学从事的是语言分析工作,这项工作只关乎语言而不必涉及外部对象与经验事实。因此,汉字哲学的本性应在于澄清我们关于汉字所形成的一般理解是否合乎语言用法,以及如何对不合乎语言用法的理解加以限制以使其更为科学系统。When explaining the nature of the philosophy of Chinese characters, Li Minsheng s Preliminary Exploration to the Philosophy of Chinese Characters inappropriately prescribes the philosophy of Chinese characters as seeking the essence and development law of Chinese characters, thus confusing the philosophy of Chinese characters with philology and other empirical sciences.This is because Li Minsheng did not make a general investigation of the nature of philosophy, so that he mistakenly believed that the philosophy of Chinese characters should have a specific object of study or engage in a certain law research.After a careful analysis of the nature of philosophy, we will find that philosophy is engaged in the analysis of language, which is only related to language and does not involve external objects and empirical facts.The essence of the philosophy of Chinese characters is to clarify whether our general understanding of the formation of Chinese characters conforms to language usage, and how to restrict the understanding of non-language usage in order to make it more scientific and systematic.
