摘  要:As a pioneer of feminism,Virginia Woolf puts forward her idea about women’s oppression in the patriarchal society and approaches to fighting for their independence in Mrs.Dalloway.Woolf focuses on female characters’inner world thr ough her careful obser vation and her sensitivity as a woman.The novel depic ts an ordinary day of Mrs.Dallow ay,a lady from the upper class in L ondon,and her preparation for a party,displaying women’s oppression and sufferings under the surf ace of prosperous London.This essay attempts to interpret Woolf’s eco-feminist perspectives on the harmful imp act on women and na ture caused by the deeply r ooted dualism and her approaches to achieving harmony between the two sexes in Mrs.Dalloway.As a pioneer of feminism, Virginia Woolf puts forward her idea about women’s oppression in the patriarchal society and approaches to fighting for their independence in Mrs. Dalloway.
