莎士比亚历史剧中社会阶级空间隐喻的意象图式解析

摘　　要：文章以莎翁历史剧《理查二世》、《亨利四世》上下篇和《亨利五世》为语料,基于[社会阶级是空间实体]的概念隐喻,着重分析"高""低"社会阶级;将语料中18个与阶级相关的空间词归为4种空间意象图式,即垂直、水平、路径和物体意象图式,探究语料中抽象社会阶级概念的建构,揭示4种意象图式与表征社会阶级"高低"的关系。By analyzing Shakespeare s historical dramas King RichardⅡ,King HenryⅣ-1 and King HenryⅣ-2 as well as King HenryⅤ,this paper starts with a conceptual metaphor that"social status is spatial entities"and focuses on analyzing"high"status and"low"status in Shakespeare s periods.In addition,eighteen related spatial words in the historical dramas are classified into four kinds of spatial image schemas:vertical,horizontal,path and object,which are used to analyze the construction of social strata concept and reveal the relationship between the four image schemas and the representation of"high"status and"low"status in Shakespearean historical dramas.
