摘　　要：不确定性是后现代主义的主要特征之一,冯内古特在小说《加拉帕格斯群岛》中通过展现死亡的不确定性,包括死亡原因、方式以及时间的含混,死亡本身的动态性与随意性,颠覆了传统的死亡观,向读者展示了后现代社会盲目发展的后果。同时,也号召人类用乐观的态度和积极的行动来改变自身的命运,从容地超越死亡的不确定性,从而摆脱生之无奈死之荒诞的当下困境。Uncertainty is one of the features of post-modernism. Through the description of the uncertainty of death which includes the ambiguity of the reasons, ways and time of death as well as the dynamic and random nature of death itself, Kurt Vonnegut subverts the traditional views of death and depicts the results of the blind development of post-modern society to readers. Meanwhile, the author calls on human beings to change the destiny with optimist attitude and positive actions to go beyond the uncertainty of death and get rid of the dilemma of helpless life and ridiculous death.
