从“事业史”到“社会史”:中国图书馆史研究范式探讨

摘　　要：图书馆作为一个“微型社会”,有其自身的发展运行规律,同时图书馆与社会经济、政治、文化又有着千丝万缕的复杂关系。如何把图书馆“小社会”与“大社会”,“自身发展”与“社会发展”联系起来研究,需要转变研究范式,由“图书馆事业史”转向“图书馆社会史”研究。“图书馆社会史”研究运用公共空间视角,把图书馆作为窗口来观察社会变迁,以展现图书馆与社会变迁之间的互动图景。图书馆社会史的研究需要拓展研究思路与研究方法,在纵向考察图书馆的发展沿革、工作业绩外,还要从横切面上审视图书馆与国家政治、地方文化、社会力量、民众生活等方面的关联,以使中国图书馆史的研究更加丰富与深入。As a “micro-society”, the library itself has its own l development and operation rules. At the same time, the library has intricate and complicated relationships with social economy, politics and culture. How to link the library “small society” with the “big society”,“self-development” and “social development” needs to change the research paradigm, from “library career history ” to “library social history ”research .From the perspective of public space, using the library as a window to observe social changes this paper explores the interaction between the library and social changes. The research of the social history of the library needs to expand the ideas and methods. In the longitudinal study of the development of the library and the performance of the work, we must also examine the library and national politics, local culture, social forces, and people’s lives from a cross-cutting perspective. The series is more vivid and rich in cultural scenes, so that the study of Chinese library history is richer and more vivid.
