从国民语文教育到文学经典普及——余冠英先生学术思想溯源  

From National Language Education to the Popularization of Literary Classics——The Source of Professor Yu Guanying's Academic Thoughts

摘　　要：余冠英先生在他60多年的学术生涯中,有着一以贯之的基本学术思想,那就是以推动国民语文教育来促进经典普及,将学术研究成果用于服务社会大众。这一学术思想的形成,要追溯到他在清华大学求学和工作期间。那时,他受到朱自清、黄节和闻一多等先生影响,进入中古文学研究并产生了诸多成果。他将五四以来承担复兴国粹、"爱国保种"之理念的"魏晋文章",延伸为代表传统文化核心的汉唐经典,深化了中古文学研究的范畴。余先生曾是《清华周刊》《国文月刊》等刊物的主创之一,致力于国民语文建设和经典推广。为契合大众的语文教育之需,他提倡"多读、细读、深读"文学经典。他重视运用语言学、历史考证的研究方法,深入浅出,形成了独树一帜的学风。在呼唤文化传统与文学经典回归的今天,余先生的学术思想尤其值得总结与发扬。In his 60 years’academic career,Professor Yu Guanying had a consistent basic academic thought,that was,to promote the popularization of classics by promoting national language education,and to use academic research results to serve the public.The formation of this academic thought should be traced back to his study and works at Tsinghua University.At that time,influenced by Zhu Ziqing,Huang Jie and Wen Yiduo,he entered the field of medieval literature studies and made many achievements.He extended the Wei Jin articles from the May 4th Movement to the classics of the Han and Tang Dynasties,which represented the core of traditional culture,and deepened the study of medieval literature.Yu Guangying was one of the main creators of such publications as Tsinghua Weekly and Chinese Monthly,and devoted himself to the construction and promotion of the national language.To meet the needs of Chinese language education,he advocated reading,reading and reading literary classics.He attached importance to the use of linguistic and historical textual research methods,in depth shallow,thus forming a unique style of study.In today’s call for the return to cultural traditions and literary classics,Professor Yu Guangying’s academic thinking is especially worth summarizing and developing.
