分级教学背景下独立学院大学英语公选课程建设的思考

摘　　要：面对生源在英语水平上的差异,众多独立学院相继实施了大学英语分级教学,开设更有针对性的公选课程,以实现精准教学。但是在建设公选课程时独立学院应充分考虑学生需求、教师专业背景和科研发展。Facing the gaps in the English language proficiency of new entrants, independent colleges are implementing a graded teaching system of college English and providing a more targeted range of selective courses in order to make the teaching process more precise. They should however take a full account of the requirements of the students, the academic background of teachers as well as the development of scientific research.
