蔡锷未回国参加唐才常自立军“勤王”起义吗?——与曾业英先生商榷  

Didn’t Cai E Return to China and Take Part in the Uprising of Self-support Army Led by Tang Caichang?——Discussing with Zeng Yeying

摘　　要：2017年曾业英发表《蔡锷未回国参加唐才常自立军"勤王"起义》一文认为:长期以来,学术界形成的蔡锷1900年回国参加唐才常自立军"勤王"起义这一共识,纯粹来源于梁启超的《蔡松坡遗事》一文,并不符合历史事实。经查考,曾业英此文的诸多论述并不符合史实,其所谓蔡锷未回国参加唐才常自立军"勤王"起义的结论不能成立。In the paper Cai E Did Not Return to China and Take Part in the Uprising of Self-Support Army Led by Tang Caichang published in 2017,Zeng Yeying points out that for a long time historians have a consensus that Cai E returned to China and took part in the uprising of self-support army led by Tang Caichang while nowit is made clear that the consensus originated from Stories of Cai Songpo by Liang Qichao is not in conformity with historical fact. According to the research,the paper holds that Zeng Yeying’s points of vieware not in conformity with the historical facts so that his conclusion that Cai E did not return to China and take part in the uprising cannot be established.
