摘  要:方东美新儒家生命哲学与罗光新士林生命哲学是20世纪中国生命哲学体系建构的两种代表性学说。此两派学说皆建基于《周易》所奠基的生命哲学传统,主张生命为宇宙与价值的本体;然而,因其会通的西方思想不同,其生命本体论基础存在重大差异,由之形成两种生命哲学模式。同是会通中西,方东美有效地以儒家人文精神消化西方现代主体生命哲学,而罗光却无法消溶士林哲学的神学内核。不过,罗光新士林生命哲学对士林哲学概念体系的继承,以及对现代哲学的开放,也使其生命哲学体系更加清晰、严谨而全面。这两种以生命为本体的汉语哲学模式,各有千秋,难分轩轾,皆可为汉语生命哲学现代重构之借镜。In the 20 th century,there were two classical modes of Chinese Philosophy of life:Thome H.Fang’s new Confucian philosophy of life and Lokuang’s Chinese scholastic philosophy of life.Rooted in the tradition of life philosophy initiated in the Book of Changes,both of them insisted that life was the noumenon of beauty,and the vivid charm the highest principle of arts.However,different western thinking,borrowed in their philosophies,helped bring about two different kinds of ontology of life,thus coming into being two modes of philosophy of life.By integrating the Chinese philosophy with the western one,Thome H.Fang successfully assimilated western philosophy of life with the modern spirit of subjectivity,while Lokuang failed to melt away the theological core of the scholastic philosophy.Despite all these,Lokuang developed a clearer and more precise and comprehensive system of philosophy of life,when inheriting the terminology of scholastic philosophy and keeping open to modern philosophy.With merits of their own,both modes can be introduced for reconstructing Chinese philosophy of life.
